#Why Connect Your CMS?

Connecting your CMS allows coreSEO to automatically apply fixes to your site. Instead of copying code snippets, you can fix SEO issues with a single click.

#Connecting WordPress

#Option 1: Install Our Plugin (Recommended)

1. In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New
2. Search for "coreSEO"
3. Click Install then Activate
4. Go to Settings > coreSEO
5. Enter your API key (found in coreSEO dashboard under Settings > API)
6. Click Connect

#Option 2: Manual Connection

If you prefer not to install a plugin:

1. In coreSEO, go to Sites > Your Site > Settings
2. Choose Manual Connection
3. Add the provided code to your theme's functions.php

#Verifying Connection

Once connected, you'll see a green "Connected" badge next to your site in the dashboard. You can test the connection by:

1. Going to any audit issue
2. Clicking Apply Fix
3. The fix should apply within seconds

#Troubleshooting

Connection failed?

• Ensure your site is publicly accessible
• Check that the plugin is activated
• Verify your API key is correct

Fixes not applying?

• Check file permissions on your server
• Ensure the plugin has write access
• Contact support if issues persist
