WordPress Integration

#Overview

The WordPress integration enables:

• One-click SEO fixes directly from coreSEO
• Automatic meta tag management
• Schema markup injection
• Real-time sync with your dashboard

#Requirements

• WordPress 5.0 or higher
• PHP 7.4 or higher
• Admin access to install plugins

#Installation

#From WordPress Plugin Directory

1. Log in to your WordPress admin
2. Navigate to Plugins > Add New
3. Search for "coreSEO"
4. Click Install Now, then Activate

#Manual Installation

1. Download the plugin from your coreSEO dashboard
2. In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin
3. Select the downloaded ZIP file
4. Click Install Now, then Activate

#Configuration

After activation:

1. Go to Settings > coreSEO in WordPress
2. Enter your API key from coreSEO dashboard (Settings > API Keys)
3. Click Connect Site
4. Choose which features to enable:
   • Auto-apply critical fixes
   • Sync meta tags
   • Inject schema markup
   • Override existing SEO plugin (optional)

#Using with Other SEO Plugins

coreSEO works alongside Yoast, RankMath, and other SEO plugins. By default, we won't override their settings. Enable "Override existing SEO plugin" only if you want coreSEO to take full control.

Once connected, you can perform these actions from coreSEO:

#Troubleshooting

#"Connection Failed" Error

1. Verify your API key is correct
2. Check that your site is publicly accessible
3. Ensure no firewall is blocking our servers
4. Try deactivating and reactivating the plugin

#Fixes Not Applying

1. Check WordPress file permissions
2. Verify the plugin is activated
3. Check for conflicts with caching plugins
4. Clear your site cache after fixes
