Understanding Your First Audit
Learn how to read and act on your SEO audit results
Audit Overview
Your audit dashboard shows a summary of your site's SEO health:
- Score - Overall SEO score from 0-100
- Issues - Total problems found, grouped by severity
- Opportunities - Potential improvements to boost rankings
Issue Severity Levels
Critical (Red)
Issues that are actively hurting your rankings. Fix these first.
Examples:
- Missing title tags
- Broken internal links
- Blocked from indexing
Warning (Orange)
Issues that could impact rankings if not addressed.
Examples:
- Duplicate meta descriptions
- Missing alt text on images
- Slow page load times
Info (Blue)
Suggestions for improvement, not necessarily problems.
Examples:
- Schema markup opportunities
- Content length recommendations
- Internal linking suggestions
Taking Action
For each issue, you have several options:
- Apply Fix - One-click fix (requires CMS connection)
- View Code - Copy the fix manually
- Ignore - Mark as intentional (won't show in future audits)
- Learn More - Understand why this matters
Scheduling Regular Audits
By default, coreSEO runs weekly audits. You can adjust this in Settings > Audit Schedule:
- Daily - Best for active sites with frequent changes
- Weekly - Good for most sites
- Monthly - Suitable for static sites
